Varietals: 100% Morillon- Chardonnay
Wine Region: Südoststeiermark, Steiermark
Vineyards: Saziani, Klausen, Silberberg, Waasen. Age of the vines: 10-30 years.
Climate: A blend of Illyric and Pannonian climate, lots of rain during the year (average 880 mm) with plenty of sun, warm days- cool nights.
Soil: Mix of chalk, heavy chalk free and medium heavy soil from fine tertiary sediment.
Vinification: Cold maceration up to 15 hours, mainly spontaneous fermentation in stainlees steel tanks and traditional old oak barrels (2.000 l), maturation on the fine yeast (sur lie) for 5 months.
