Vineyard: 4 ha several vineyards in Mönchhof
Soil: Loam, gravel
Fermentation: Maceration 10 days, sponateous yeast fermentation in stainless steel, no enzymes, no concentrations, filtration at bottling, no fining
Aging: 10 months in 225 liter 5-year-old French Barrique casks, filtration at botteling, no fining
Alcohol: 13.5 % vol
Total acidity: 5.3 g/l
Residual sugars: 1.0 g/l
Best: 2011 -2016

Tasting notes:
Dark ruby garnet with violet reflexes,
on the nose aromas of heart-cherries and blackberries
juicy and velvety on the palette, beautiful structure, complex and with fresh cherries in the finish
